Sage Intacct releases system updates quarterly. These automatic updates require no action on your part. They include new features and product enhancements to help heighten your Sage Intacct user experience. In this article, we’ll highlight a few updates being introduced with Sage Intacct 2024 Release 4.
To access release notes, navigate to the Sage Intacct homepage. If you’re logged in as a user, release notes can be found near the top-left corner of the page. Click on “Read the release notes” to review the full list of updates.

You also may use the “Release notes” link found in the Help & Support section on the Sage Intacct homepage near the lower-left corner.

After navigating to the release notes, select “All release notes.” The 2024 Release 4 notes can be found here, as well as the 2025 Release Calendar—as this has been recently published and can be viewed here. Select the “2025 Release Calendar” menu item to display the full calendar of quarterly release dates scheduled for next year.

The release notes page contains details on the last 10 releases, sorted in descending date order on the left-hand menu.
The release notes page contains links for a highlights video and a table of release highlights with brief feature descriptions and hyperlinks to detailed articles on all features and enhancements.

Sage Intacct highlights the following features for the 2024 Release 4:
- Reconcile customer payments and credits to invoices and reconcile payments and credits to bills
- Enhancements to Accounts Receivable statements
- Automation support for tax solutions
- Manual lettrage for General Ledger transactions (flexible filtering and assigned lettering sequence)
- Override tax schedules in Purchasing and Order Entry
- List enhancements – try the Beta version
- New language options for Spanish and Canadian French – try the Beta version
- Multidevice employee expense automation – generally available
- Retainage for Projects and Grants – use retainage in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable without a Construction subscription
- Sage Intelligent Time – time clocks (coming at the end of November) and rate cards (coming in December)
- Announcing the first customer certification for Sage Intacct
- And much more

To learn about specific Sage Intacct application updates, select the Financials menu item shown below. Note that “Company and Administration” and “Platform Services, Customization, and Extensions” are listed separately on the 2024 Release 4 menu.

The Financials menu item expands to list Sage Intacct applications in alphabetical order. You may then select any application name to see the list of updates made in the release and drill down to detailed articles for each enhancement.
