Tim is the chief growth officer at Forvis Mazars. He has more than 25 years of public accounting experience and has held several leadership roles since he joined the firm in 1993. Tim has served as an elected member of the executive committee and is currently a member of the firm’s senior leadership team.
In his role as Chief Growth Officer, he leads growth and strategy for the 10 national industry groups of Forvis Mazars, which include the Commercial Products Practice, Construction & Real Estate Practice, Dealerships Practice, Financial Services Practice, Healthcare Practice, Insurance Practice, Forvis Mazars Private Client™, Private Equity Practice, Technology & Services Practice, Nonprofit Practice, Education Practice, and Public Sector Practice. He also has a similar role for the firm’s assurance and tax areas.
In his prior role as managing partner of performance, Tim oversaw firm operations, regional strategy, technology, and business planning initiatives. He focused on continuous improvement and keeping Forvis Mazars future-focused, which supports the firm’s mission of building valuable careers with our people and helping clients achieve their goals.
Throughout his career, he has provided assurance and consulting services to a wide variety of clients, focusing primarily on the dealership industry. He has also performed valuation work for more than two decades. Tim is active in many professional associations, previously completing a three-year term as a member of the Business Valuations Committee for the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and chairing two separate conferences for the AICPA: The National Business Valuation Conference and multiple years of the National Auto Dealership Conference. Tim is a thought leader in the industry, contributing to FORsights articles and webinars, authoring pieces for the BVR Special Report, and speaking on emerging accounting trends at industry events. He also has served in multiple community organizations for many years.
Tim is a graduate of Birmingham–Southern College, Alabama, with a B.S. degree in accounting.
