John leads the Life Sciences industry and serves as Regional Industry Leader of our Technology & Services Practice. John has 28 years of experience both with Forvis Mazars and an international accounting firm. He has accounting and audit experience with life sciences and technology companies. He has worked with both closely held private companies and publicly traded companies. He can assist companies with financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and internal control structure design and modification, especially as a company transitions to being publicly traded.
In addition to his experience in the Research Triangle region, John spent three years working with innovation companies in Silicon Valley.
John is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, Board of Directors of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities, and North Carolina Advanced Learning Technologies Association.
He is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a B.S.B.A. degree and an M.Acc. degree.
