KANSAS CITY – Forvis Mazars is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with the Kansas City Chiefs to be the team’s ERP (enterprise resource planning) solutions provider. Forvis Mazars is currently spearheading the implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for the team, building on a longstanding relationship between the NFL’s reigning champions and the nation’s eighth largest public accounting firm.
“Forvis Mazars and the Chiefs have had a working relationship for many years, and we are proud to now become the ERP solutions provider for the team,” said Rachel Dwiggins, managing partner of Forvis Mazars’ Kansas City office. “Just like the Chiefs, our firm has deep roots in this community, and the Forvis Mazars team is thrilled to be able to continue supporting our hometown team in this key capacity.”
“We have enjoyed a strong relationship with Forvis Mazars for a number of years as the solutions and level of service they provided us continually surpassed expectations,” Chiefs Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Dan Crumb said. “When we examined the short- and long-term outlooks for our business, it was clear that it was time to take this partnership to the next level. We couldn’t be more excited to have the Forvis Mazars team – which has such a strong presence in Chiefs Kingdom – meeting our needs and supporting our work moving forward.”
Forvis Mazars has been providing on-premises ERP support and technology consulting for the Chiefs for many years. The firm is currently in the final phase of implementing the Microsoft Business Central Cloud ERP, which is expected to support the team’s technology needs for many years to come. The completed project will help ensure a modern, scalable, and effective work experience for the team’s front office operations.
“The Chiefs are one of the NFL’s premier franchises, and their winning ways on the field reflect the high bar the team’s management has set for operational excellence off the field,” said Angela Morelock, managing partner for Forvis Mazars’ risk, analytics, and public sector practice. “We appreciate the Chiefs continuously putting their trust in Forvis Mazars with their technology needs.”
