HOUSTON – Forvis Mazars has hired Evlon Charles to join the firm’s valuation team serving clients nationwide. Charles joins Forvis Mazars as a managing director with nearly two decades of experience working on business valuations for financial reporting, tax, and strategic planning purposes.
Charles has made his career managing people and client relationships in a fast-paced consulting environment. He has worked in the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean, leading to a deep understanding of cultural nuance and international business. Throughout his career, he has focused on developing core competencies in business development, project management, and mentorship in addition to his extensive skill set in valuation work for clients.
Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, Charles worked in various valuation roles at international accounting firms and began his career with a large financial services provider in the Caribbean. He has led project teams in preparing valuation analyses and strategic advice to clients in a wide range of industries, with a focus on the financial services sector.

Charles earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad & Tobago, and an M.B.A. in finance from Rice University in Houston.
