Tim serves as the lead valuation principal in the U.S. for Forvis Mazars. His professional background spans more than 25 years to include executive-level leadership positions both in the U.S. and in Europe. Prior to joining the firm, Tim served as founder and managing partner of a valuation, corporate finance advisory, and corporate finance strategy firm.

He has assisted companies with valuation, credit, capital structure, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional opinions. His experience includes extensive cross-border transactions dealing with complex corporate structures, structured credit, foreign currency, multijurisdictional insolvency, distressed debt, and financial reporting.

Tim has personally appeared on CNBC and has spoken at several industry events in both the U.S. and the U.K., including in the Turnaround Management Association, Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Financial Executives International, and International Accounting Standards Board. In addition, Tim has published articles with Strategic Finance and Financier Worldwide.

Prior to founding his firm, he was a principal with an international firm and a senior managing director with the firm’s investment banking team, where he was the lead partner for the firm’s U.S. fairness opinion practice. Prior to his international firm experience, Tim was a director with an independent global investment bank where he was one of two founding partners for the U.K. and European valuation advisory division. During that time, he lived and worked overseas, serving a client base of companies, hedge funds, and banks, and was heavily involved in assisting clients with complications resulting from the 2007 through 2008 financial crises. Prior to his investment banking career, Tim was a corporate banking officer with a regional commercial bank.

Tim is active with the CFA Institute/CFA Society Atlanta, Turnaround Management Association, and Association for Corporate Growth.

He is a graduate of Florida State University, Tallahassee, with a B.S. degree in biology, and a graduate of University of Florida, Gainesville, with an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in finance and international business.
