Nancy is a member of the Forensics & Valuation practice unit and the Financial Services practice unit with more than 25 years of experience providing business valuation services for financial reporting, estate and gift tax purposes, stock transactions, stock-based compensation, employee stock ownership plans, and succession planning.
She leads Forvis Mazars’ financial institutions and financial reporting valuation practice. Her experience encompasses a broad spectrum of industries, including financial institutions, restaurants, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and distribution. She also is an internal valuation specialist for Forvis Mazars’ attest clients and consults on various valuation issues related to financial reporting.
Before joining the firm in 2002, Nancy was vice president at a national leader in the middle-market mergers and acquisitions industry, where she was involved with the valuation and marketing of a variety of businesses. Prior to that, she was a marketing assistant at an international accounting firm.
She is a member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation with a designation in Intangible Asset Valuation (ASA-BV/IA). Nancy is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential. She has served as president of the ASA Oklahoma chapter and in various capacities with ASA International.
Nancy is a 1982 graduate with distinction of University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, with a B.A. degree.
