Matt is the national industry leader of the firm’s Commercial Products Practice. He has more than 20 years of experience serving the industry, specifically in the areas of corporate taxation and tax consulting. As the industry practice leader, Matt is responsible for the client experience and overseeing Forvis Mazars’ timely response to our clients’ needs. He ensures the practice focuses on important industry issues that affect our clients and helps identify forward-looking services and solutions. His ability to understand industry challenges helps Matt pair clients with the appropriate Forvis Mazars professionals to assist with core audit and tax services as well as other value-added offerings such as operational improvement, IT risk mitigation, international tax advisory, business valuation, internal audit, and services related to mergers and acquisitions.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, and Nat Greene Kiwanis Club of Greensboro.
Matt is a graduate of Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina, with a B.S. degree in accounting and an M.Acc. degree.
