As regional managing partner of Forvis Mazars’ National Advisory Services, Jerry is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of specialty consulting practices that are national in scale, including national tax services, risk advisory services, performance advisory services, transaction advisory services, public sector advisory services, data analytics advisory services, and wealth advisory services. He serves on Forvis Mazars’ Governing Board, Management Committee, and Recruiting Oversight Committee.
His approximate 30 years of experience includes extensive involvement in working with private equity clients in both audit and advisory capacities. Most recently, he served as a managing partner overseeing Forvis Mazars’ transaction advisory services and performance advisory services practices.
Jerry has written numerous articles published in national trade journals and has presented extensively at regional and national conferences. He also has presented technical industry views on proposed accounting standards to the members of FASB on three separate occasions.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Leadership Louisville. He is a past inductee of Business First’s “40 Under 40” for professionals making a positive contribution to the Louisville community and an active board member and volunteer with Metro United Way in Louisville.
Jerry is a 1990 graduate of Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, with a B.S. degree in accounting.
