Based in Forvis Mazars’ Atlanta office, Billy is the national industry leader of the Technology & Services Practice. He brings to Forvis Mazars more than 30 years of experience with an international firm focused on software (SaaS and Cloud), fintech, healthcare IT, technology, manufacturing, and services.
He serves as lead audit partner, client executive partner, and/or industry partner for public and private technology companies ranging from the Fortune 1000 to start-ups. As part of his commitment to excellent client service, Billy provides deep technical and business guidance, which includes extensive experience with revenue recognition accounting and business models, controls and processes, SEC filings, stock compensation, financing, and mergers and acquisitions.
In addition, Billy works with private equity and venture capital growth companies assisting them through their development and establishment of policies and practices in areas such as initial public offerings, business combinations, and revenue recognition.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, GSCPA, and Technology Association of Georgia.
Billy is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, with a B.S. degree in accounting.
