The History of Healthcare Symposium

The first Healthcare Symposium wasn’t a symposium at all—it began with the then-leader of one of our legacy healthcare practices, Larry Hughes, inviting a few industry friends to his house on the Carolina coast for a clam bake in 2001. Since then, the event has moved from Charleston, South Carolina, to Nashville, Tennessee, to Orlando, Florida, and has evolved this year to include two locations. Forvis Mazars’ Healthcare Symposium 2024 will continue to ignite the conversations that will create a more equitable, accessible, and compassionate healthcare industry.
