Tuesdays at Ten: NY State Consolidated Fiscal Reporting Updates

March 26, 2024
Providers in the post-pandemic world face a myriad of challenges due to increasing costs and reporting mandates. Calendar-year 2023 is no different, and the New York State Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR) was updated to include CPA peer review information, a new certification requirement, and certain other changes to the cost report. Further, with the continued uncertainty related to the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) future rate reform process and the State Education Department (SED) methodology changes, providers should continue to focus on the accuracy of their cost reporting. This includes reviewing and understanding KPIs, understanding industry trends and individual providers’ performance, and how it may affect you in the future.

Join Forvis Mazars as we discuss the latest CFR reporting changes, share benchmarking results, and provide insight on areas critical to your reimbursement.
