OMAHA, Nebraska – Forvis Mazars, LLP, ranked among the largest public accounting and consulting firms in the United States, is pleased to announce Partner Anthony Pasternak as market leader in Omaha.
As the market leader, Pasternak will represent Forvis Mazars in the Omaha area by actively engaging with the business community and cultivating relationships with local leaders and clients. Additionally, he will take a leadership role in the firm’s recruiting efforts, drive practice development, and assist in office management activities. He will continue to serve under Chris Lindner, managing partner for the firm’s Nebraska practice unit, which includes offices in Lincoln and Omaha.
“Anthony is the perfect choice to lead our Omaha market,” said Lindner. “As a proud Nebraska resident who built his career in the state, Anthony’s deep local knowledge and extensive experience make him uniquely qualified for this role. His leadership, integrity, and passion for helping others have consistently defined his work, and we are confident in his ability to help propel our continued success in the region.”
Since joining Forvis Mazars in 2005, Pasternak has accompanied the firm through significant transitions, including the 2022 merger of equals that created FORVIS, and this year’s formation of the Forvis Mazars global network. During his tenure, he has partnered with clients, offering his expertise in tax preparation, liability reduction, and business consulting.
“I’m honored to step into this new role and bring my passion for helping the Omaha community continue to thrive,” said Pasternak. “I look forward to leveraging my knowledge of our area while continuing to help our people and clients unlock their full potential.”
Pasternak serves on the School of Accountancy Advisory Board at the University of Nebraska and is a member of the Taxation Committee for the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants. In this role, he provides guidance and insights on federal, state, and local tax issues, supports Society members and government authorities, and works to elevate public understanding of the CPA’s role in taxation.
He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
